Following overwhelming interest from the legal community after its initial run at the Law Society, Bizibody Technology held a second and larger session of Introduction to AI in Legal Technology – A Primer for Senior Practitioners on 21 August 2025. The event drew more than 120 attendees, underscoring the growing appetite among senior lawyers to understand and apply AI meaningfully in legal practice.
Led by Eusuff Ali (Keystone Law Corporation), Lim Seng Siew (OTP Law Corporation), and Serena Lim (Bizibody Technology), the session guided participants through the rapidly evolving landscape of generative AI tools and their implications for legal work. Topics ranged from responsible use and verification to practical demonstrations of workflow enhancement through tools like Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini.
A highlight of the evening was a live demonstration of Gemini 2.5 Pro, showcasing how lawyers can leverage AI for drafting, document summarisation, and case analysis. The speakers also discussed recent court guidance such as Registrar’s Circular No. 1 of 2024, emphasising that while AI use is encouraged, professional diligence and verification remain essential duties for all practitioners.
The discussion reflected a noticeable shift in attitude among attendees. Many senior practitioners expressed optimism and alignment with the courts’ encouragement that law firms should responsibly harness AI to enhance efficiency and access to justice.
